·   If no quick break is on, then build the attack up from the back. Most teams play with a goalkeeper and so the team in possession will have at least one unmarked player.

·   Use the unmarked player (A) to bring the ball up the pitch towards the opposition. If an opposition player goes to tackle player (A) then player (A) should pass to the team-mate who is now unmarked.

·   The team continues to bring the ball up towards the opposition goal in this way until a player gets the ball in a good shooting position

·   Unmarked player (A) brings ball up from back until an opposition player approaches

·   Opposition player C has gone to player A with ball who then passes to unmarked team-mate B

·   Repeat this process until player is in a shooting position
